It's a 1-to-10 rating of how strongly a conversation shows gaslighting patterns — things like denial, blame-shifting, and minimizing. The app names the specific patterns it found so the score is something you can actually understand, not just a number.

GasLight is built to be careful and calibrated, but it's an AI reading, not a professional diagnosis. Use it as a clarity tool and a starting point, not as the final word on anyone. If something feels serious, talk to a qualified professional.

Your saved analyses stay on your device, not on our servers. To produce a score, the content you submit is sent securely to AI processing providers and used only to generate your result — never sold or used to advertise to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Open your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone, or the Play Store → Subscriptions on Android, select GasLight, and tap Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Open the app and use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. If it still doesn't appear, email us your store and the email on your account and we'll sort it out.

You can delete individual analyses or clear all data from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally. To ask about anything else, email support@getgaslight.app.

You can analyze pasted text, screenshots from any messaging app, recorded audio, and email threads. Screenshot reading and audio transcription are handled by AI, so they work across the apps you already use.
